“If You Had Three Wishes…”

If you were granted 3 wishes, what would you wish for?

I bet many people would wish for a brand new car (with no car payment) if they were granted 3 wishes. I know people celebrate and jump for joy when they’re able to purchase a new car. And purchasing luxury cars result in an even bigger celebration and praise! Can you imagine being able to just wish for a brand new car?! No wonder game shows are always giving away new cars as the grand prize, haha! One of my favorite game shows Family Feud does.

Mercedes are such beautiful cars. Their emblem is a sign of luxury and class. You automatically think someone is doing well financially if you see them sporting a shiny Mercedes. Ladies, let that man pull up to your house and pick you up in a fancy-looking Mercedes for that first date! I bet he’ll make a good first impression! Lol!

I don’t own a Mercedes or a luxury vehicle for that matter. I love my car though. It’s safe, reliable, and affordable! And if I had 3 wishes, I probably wouldn’t even wish for a new car. I also wouldn’t wish for anything materialistic lol. Here is what I would wish for:

1. Peace on earth! Haha, no but seriously, why can’t we all just get along?! My first wish would be to provide everyone who is suffering from homelessness with housing, resources, and employment. With all of the money, cars, and all-inclusive trips that are given away on gameshows, by billionaires, or whoever, I just can’t wrap my head around how we can walk and drive past people sleeping on the sidewalks daily. I know many people feel, well that’s their money they worked for it so they can do what they want with it, and I completely agree! I am a logical thinker so you just have to bear with me — it just doesn’t add up and I wish there was a plausible, realistic, and sustainable solution to eliminating homelessness and supplying everyone with a safe and warm place to sleep! (I also know that this wish will require some other services such as mental health and substance abuse services due to many of them being the source of how people experience homelessness).
   
   
2. ZERO DEBT! Let’s say that again — CANCEL ALL MY, MY MAMA’S, AND MY FAMILY’S DEBT! That includes all of the student loans, car payments, credit card balances, mortgages, all of dat! You would have to be wise with your spending in order for this to be long-term debt-free living though. Because once it’s canceled, you can’t go back into those bad habits and start swiping your credit card all willy nilly again! But I feel like I would have a good plan in place to prevent racking up more debt (and I’m def not incurring more student loan debt!). I just don’t want that financial, emotional, mental, or physical debt hanging over me or my family’s heads.
   
   
3. Perfect lifetime physical health. Let me just throw away my gym membership right now! You all know how much I love and encourage fitness and good health. It’s not always easy though, and I have body goals! In addition to the goals I have for my physical appearance, I also have to practice healthy habits to be healthy internally. Prevent any illnesses or diagnoses. Regulate my blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and A1C. Maintaining good physical health takes a lot of time, energy, effort, and sometimes money. If I had perfect lifetime physical health that wouldn’t mean I would stop working out, but I would be able to do it simply because I wanted to. Maybe one day!

Those 3 wishes didn’t come straight to me. I thought hard about them and wanted them to be meaningful. I definitely would want to wish for a higher salary, a bigger house, a happy marriage, or unlimited flights to see my family. I would even wish for a nice Mercedes that I would take to MBT of Atlanta Mercedes Master Techs if there was ever an issue with it. They service many areas in and around Atlanta! But some of those wishes could result in more work or hassle. You know what Biggie says, mo money mo problems!
