If you’re new to my site and my blog, I welcome you! Thanks for stopping by! My blog, “Off the Record” was originally created to share and highlight all of the things Imani J. does outside of the courtroom. As a criminal defense attorney, it’s difficult to share the details of my work because a lot of it is confidential. So I wanted my blog to focus more on the other facets of the criminal defense lawyer.

Off the Record covers areas of my life such as moments with my family and my community, my fitness and nutritional journeys, and anything personal, such as navigating friendships or dating. The posts are meant to be inspirational, relatable, and educational. As I am rebranding myself and my website, I will be sorting through my previous blog posts, keeping some, adding some, just making everything align a little bit better with where I’m at in life these days! So don’t worry, Moni Jay, Off the Record is still alive and well!
